I'm always delighted to be part of Noir at the Bar Edinburgh - my fourth time was May 2024, reading from a work in progress set in the fictional suburb of Broughty Ferry.

The Angus Writers' Circle is an ongoing source of support and inspiration, and the competitions are perfect to sharpen up one's writing (and hopefully win!).

And there's the SAW conference. I won second prize in the novel category in 2022 (judged by Vaseem Khan) which was a great boost. (That novel is currently on submission.)

Of course, Angus Writers turn out in force and are always well represented amongst the prizewinners.
